The Kitchen Porter will be responsible for the following:
Cleanliness:

• To clear and clean the kitchen, kitchen stores, office and temperature controlled stores, ensuring that all surfaces are wiped after service and the floor washed at the end of the shift.
• To ensure that all utensils, crockery & cutlery and clean and smear free.
• To maintain equipment in clean and serviceable condition, reporting any defects to the Head Chef.

Stores Movement:

• To deliver stores as required on a daily basis
• To maintain all storerooms in good order.
• To alert head Chef as to stock levels.

General Tasks:

• To assist in simple food preparation tasks.
• To maintain a high standard of personal and operational hygiene.
• To carry out any other special duties or work outside the normal daily routine but within the overall scope of the position.
