The Chequers Inn is a 2 AA Rosette Hotel and Restaurant in the Buckinghamshire countryside near High Wycombe, with excellent transport links into London and the South-East.

We’re currently looking for a reliable kitchen porter to join our busy Kitchen team. This is an excellent hands-on learning experience for anyone looking to begin a career working in a professional kitchen. Many of our chefs began as kitchen porters and have now worked their way up to become senior chefs in the kitchen. We are a small team so our working environment is fun, friendly and hardworking. You’ll be in charge of cleaning the kitchen, unloading deliveries, washing dishes and basic food preparation. Full training will be provided and you will report to the Head Chef.

You will work a minimum of 37 hours per week across both straight and split shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays - although our rota can be fairly flexible. A staff meal and drink are provided on shift. You must be able to live and work in the UK. We cannot provide live-in accommodation for this role.
