Kitchen Assistant - Weekends Only (Afternoon Shift)

Job Description:

We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Assistant. You will ideally be qualified with Basic Food Hygiene Certificate to level 2 or 3 but not essential. Experience working within Care Homes, Schools and Hotels/Guest Houses would be desirable but not essential.

We are recruiting for the afternoon shift from 2pm to 7pm covering Saturday & Sunday only. 5 hours each day.

If you feel you can complete all of the below tasks and you are reliable, with excellent time keeping skills, we would love to hear from you!

Key Tasks

  • To maintain appropriate workflow in the kitchen by assuring prompt clearing and washing of dishes, crockery, pots and pans.
  • To maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the kitchen, dining and storage areas.
  • To ensure all dining and Bistro areas are kept tidy, set up and well stocked with food, beverages, cutlery and crockery.
  • To prepare refreshment trolleys.
  • To promote and display a professional image commensurate with the high standards of Crown Care Group.
  • Help with special events.
