KITCHEN ASSISTANT
NIGHTS


Location: ST16, Stafford
Pay rate: £15/hr
Working hours: 22:00pm till 04:30am
Shifts: Wednesday to Friday
Contract type: temporary ongoing
Start date: ASAP
Requirements:

  • Food&Hygiene level 1 (we can process one for you for free)
  • Due to the working hours and location, the right candidate must have their own transport.
  • Previous catering experience
  • Knowledge of health and safety within a kitchen environment


We are currently looking for hard-working, enthusiastic assistants to join our client’s team - working in a busy warehouse kitchen environment. This is a great opportunity, that offers ongoing work Wednesday to Friday. We are looking for individuals with previous experience in a catering environment. A Kitchen Assistant role can be a great stepping stone into other roles within the hospitality and catering industry.

As a Kitchen Assistant you will be required to have the below duties:

  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • General assistant duties
  • Assisting other members of kitchen staff
  • Washing pots/pans/utensils
  • Keeping surfaces clean and tidy
  • General food prep
  • Operating tills
  • Serving food at the counter in a canteen environment
  • Working front of house
  • Clearing tables
  • Other duties as requested by management


As a Kitchen Assistant you will have the following skills:


  • Great customer service skills
  • Able to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work Wednesday to Friday 10pm-4:30am
  • Punctual
  • Polite and friendly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Able to build good relationships
  • Can work well within a team and independently
  • Can follow instructions
