Full time/part time hours to cover annual leave

We are recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Holmwood Care Centre - part of a leading care provider group. We have a good CQC rating and exceptional reviews on the carehome.co.uk website, but don’t just take our word for it, go online and take a look.

This role will guarantee the successful applicant new experiences every day, as no two days are ever the same. The Successful Applicant Will Have Previous Experience In
  • £250 welcome bonus on completion of 6 months’ probation
  • Assisting in Managing a busy kitchen, reporting to the Head Chef
  • working in a fast paced environment
  • Preparing and cooking a balanced, nutritious diet within a controlled hygienic environment
  • Ordering and monitoring supplies in line with a budget
  • Assist in Managing your own department staff rotas
  • Free Hot meal on shift
  • Free parking on site
Attention to detail is a must, and the ability to demonstrate culinary experience. We want someone with passion, to produce dishes for our service users to a great standard every day. Most importantly to enhance the overall dining experience, so we hear our residents say, "My compliments to the chef".
