On Our Kickstart Programme You Will
  • Join us as a Sales Administration Assistant in our Maidenhead or Daventry offices
  • Be welcomed into our business and paired with a work buddy who you will work closely with during your placement
  • Your Line Manager, Buddy and our HR partners will also be on hand throughout the six months to help you
  • Receive technical skills training to help you do your job and learn about all the essential behaviours you need to succeed at work including teamwork and responsiveness
  • Gain employability skills including CV building and mock interviews to help you become work ready

You will be paired with a work buddy with who you will work closely during your placement. This buddy will always be on hand to ensure you have all the information and support you need to complete your tasks. You will also have the opportunity to present your experience back to the senior management team at the end of the internship providing you with a platform to demonstrate the impact you have contributed to Volvo Cars UK.
Reporting to one of Volvo Cars Sales Managers, the role will be responsible for providing a variety of office and sales administrative support. This role is vital for the smooth-running of the business and you will be involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and provide support for specific projects and tasks. The role will liaise with staff in other departments and with external contacts and you will develop and maintain good relationships with team members and stakeholders and build trust across the organisation through building collaborative relationships.

Key Tasks
  • Deal with telephone and email enquiries
  • Update and maintain weekly performance data
  • Support team meetings with facilities booking and organising attendees/guests
  • Book meeting rooms and conference facilities
  • Organise and store paperwork, documents, and computer-based information
  • Be involved in projects with a view to being empowered to work autonomously
