An excellent opportunity for a Junior Window / Site Fitter to join a well-established company based in Launceston, Cornwall.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £20,000 - £35,000.00 Per Year, Depending on Experience. (Overtime Also Available)

Working
Hours: Basic working hours are 7:30 - 4pm with a half hour unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. The company would consider full time, part time and other flexible working arrangements for the right candidate

The Company:

Established in 2009 as a bespoke metalwork specialist. They have since developed into one of the foremost fabricators of steel architectural glazing systems in the UK. They hand make each item here in their workshop in Cornwall and it is fitted by their in-house fitting team.

The majority of their work ends up in London developments and have worked with companies such as Netflix, Red Bull and Blackstone.

Role & Requirements:

They are a busy fabrication workshop and a growing company. As they take on more work outside of their core location (Central London) they will be needing support from an additional site fitter to work on a number of jobs they have secured in the South of England.

The ideal candidate would have some site fitting / window fitting experience and be keen and willing to learn from our experienced team. The job will be based from their Cornwall workshop but will require regular travel to sites across the UK and in London with consecutive overnight stays. A driving license is essential. You will also be involved in assembly and logistics of projects before their arrival on site, and there may be some limited opportunity to assist in fabrication in the workshop.

The position could suit a detail orientated builders’ mate, junior site fitter, junior window fitter; anyone with an understanding of building work who feels comfortable on site and is keen to learn. There will be opportunities to upskill and focus on particular areas of the business as the role develops.
