Hickory’sare looking to recruit a Junior Sous Chefto join our team. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and you will receive a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,000per annum PLUS £5000+ with our Tip Jar!

We are currently looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef. You will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen, as well as stocks and management of the kitchen team. Our successful Sous Chef must be hands on and lead by example demonstrating the ability to support the Head Chef with motivating a team.

Essential

requirements of a successful Hickory’s Junior Sous Chef:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast--paced restaurant environment
  • Developing and training the kitchen team to a high standard to maximise both food service and bottom line profits
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Strong passion for food and for customer satisfaction
  • Possess excellent organisational and leadership skills, be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and you should be reliable and punctual
