Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency, budget control, and the overall success of our developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to gain valuable experience and grow within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Conducting cost analysis and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of subcontractor and supplier quotations.
  • Collaborating with the project team to monitor project progress and cost variations.
  • Preparing reports, financial statements, and other documentation as required.
  • Assisting in the negotiation and management of contracts.
  • Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced construction environment.
