An international pharma company is looking for a Junior QC Specialist to join their dynamic team! Our client is a Global leader in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. In this position you will be carrying out all activities in the area of small molecule API Quality Control in accordance with ISO and cGMP standards.

Our client is currently embarking on a new campaign, building their new plant in the U.K. It is a personal office so this means that you will have closer contact with everyone which will give you faster decisions and you will not feel like a number.

You will work directly with the proposal manager, project manager, research & development technician and QA technician on every advancement and be able to directly make an impact on their new growth, while expanding your QC and communication skills.

Some responsibilities include;
Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing in support of raw material, In-process, intermediate and final product analysis.
Providing effective and efficient assistance to the QC Team Leader to ensure efficient and timely analysis of samples.
Following all SOPs and methods in execution of daily activities
Generation of certificates of analysis for approval by senior QC and/or QA
Routine calibration and maintenance tasks for lab equipment
Execution of protocols for; Lab equipment IQ/OQ/PQ, Analytical method validation
Ensuring safe systems of work within the laboratory
Ensuring that all analytical services are performed within the requirements of the appropriate standards (GMP/HACCP) by ensuring only to undertake tasks for where appropriately trained and qualified.
Driving continuous improvement activities within the QC area in order to minimise waste and maximise efficiencies.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, Chemical or Chemistry.
Chemical background needed (Small molecules)
1+ years of quality control experience required; experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical or Clinical Research Organization (CRO) preferred.
Experience in a factory or plant production.
Experience with API’s
Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in GMP, Good Laboratory Practice, ISO15189, CAP, CLIA strongly preferred.
