The Role:


Quality assurance engineers at Percent are expected to be meticulous in ensuring that both new and old features alike are functioning correctly. QA engineers are a vital part of our cross-functional teams and are expected to test both our front and backend systems as well as contribute towards our product direction. You will report directly to one of our team leads.


You have:

  • 1-2 years experience of QA on frontend Web and API’s
  • An eye for detail
  • Boundless curiosity
  • Excellent communication skills to report and resolve issues with your team
  • A great enthusiasm to maintain, develop, and evolve reliable software
  • A desire to take ownership of a mission-critical project
  • An ability to create and execute optimized test cases, test plans, end to end flows, and document tests
  • The ability to validate user acceptance criteria by working closely with a cross-functional product team
  • The ability and desire to research new tools and methodologies and introduce them to the team

It would be good (but not essential) if you have:

  • Using Postman and Jira
  • Start-up company experience
  • Continuous integration and delivery with Bitbucket
  • Writing automated tests
  • Experience working on a large project
  • Performance testing
  • QA certification programs or would like to gain certification

Flexible Remote?

This means that for the majority of the time you can work from home if you want. We would expect you to come into the office one day a week to maintain team knowledge. We do all go for lunch together on Tasty Tuesday™ but it can be any day.
