Junior Private Investigator & Test-Purchaser

We are looking for a confident and composed individual to join the business as we build our team. The job can be fast-paced, often requires short notice, and involves plenty of early starts/evenings/weekends so flexibility and dedication will be essential.

The role itself will involve planning and conducting covert surveillance operations, process serving, test-purchasing and enquiry agent work for civil, legal and corporate matters. The ideal candidate will be comfortable lone-working and visiting properties/premises to conduct test purchases. A background in law enforcement or military is not essential and training will be provided.

The candidate will work alongside other investigators to gain experience however there will be regular shifts that require the operative to remain in their vehicle alone, monitoring individuals, properties or assets for 6-8 hours+ so patience is a vital skill. All of the work we conduct is presented in written reports and supported by video/photographic evidence so excellent report writing skills and computer literacy are essential. This will require attention to detail, composure and good communication skills at all times.

Our office is in the heart of the jewellery quarter in Birmingham although the majority of the hours will be spent out on task so office visits will be ad-hoc as required. We will provide all necessary surveillance equipment, a laptop, mobile phone and suitable training.

Important Notes:
Candidate must be based within the West Midlands, be flexible and willing to start

This job will involve regular short shifts, often requiring short notice, evening and weekend work.
