We are looking to speak with a junior PHP developer who would be interested in working for a well established property management solutions company based out of Hebburn. Our client specialises in the home emergency sector and has grown exponentially over the last 10 years. It is our clients goal to manage and successfully deliver an efficient and professional service to customers within the sector. Our clients 3 year business plan will result in securing 1 million+ policies under our management.

We require the role of Junior PHP Developer to efficiently and cost effectively develop, maintain and enhance all aspects relating to the operational infrastructure and functionality. The role is imperative to the building and maintaining of existing and new client relationships through the effective management of internal IT processes and new technological advances. The role would ideally suit a recent graduate, or someone recently qualified with a real appetite to learn, improve and evolve as part of our business journey.

The key duties of the position are as follows;
  • Ongoing Maintenance and development of Axis
  • Implementation of new Axis developments
  • Development of web based programs and telephone IVR systems
  • General project development in line with projected growth
  • Assist with the delivery of new business tenders and Axis licencing
  • Work alongside the lead developer
  • Dynamic approach to software development across business globally
For this position we’re looking for someone with;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and project planning
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Experience implementing PHP applications and awareness of best practice in software development
  • Agile methodologies in relation to PHP web developing
  • Core PHP
  • MySQL
  • Server administration via CPanel / PHP My Admin
  • Basic web design skills / HTML including Bootstrap
  • Basic working knowledge of IOS and Android Applications
