Job Location:Poole, Dorset

Job Type:Permanent

Salary:£24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours:37.5 hours per week with flexible start and finish times (start between 8am -10am and finish between 4pm – 6pm) Monday – Friday + parking

A unique and rapidly growing reseller of body jewellery and body art supplies in Poole is currently recruiting for an in-house Junior Graphic to focus on creating designs for flyers, packaging, emails and print.

This successful company comprises of 40 talented individuals at their head office. Serving around 4,500 B2B customers, this business holds an impressive reputation for their customer service and in-depth product knowledge.

The next stage of growth includes supplying the B2C market so this is a very exciting time to join.

As the Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for designing for print and digital mediums across a variety of brands.

You will ideally have one year’s in-house or agency experience and a portfolio showcasing your creative work.

Working closely alongside the Graphic Designer, your duties will include;

· Designing print and digital ads, social media posts, print catalogues, packaging etc.

· Producing attractive and effective designs for all media

· Art working designs and prepping files to send to printers / suppliers

· Maintaining adherence to brand guidelines for multiple brands

· Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas

· Communicating and liaising with other team members to receive feedback and collaborate

· Image editing

· Directing photography and videography

· Branding and brand development

The successful candidate will possess;

· Portfolio showcasing a variety of professional design work

· Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (eg. Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)

· Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and typography

· The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment

· A background of working as part of a creative team

· The ability to see projects through from inception to production

· Good organisational skills that support the rest of the team

· Strong written and verbal communication skills
