Elite Placements Ltd is working with a young, independently-owned, fast growing home delivery business, ambitious to improve the quality of its services at every opportunity. Working with recognized online brands, they specialize in delivering bulky, high-value purchases such as furniture, electronics, beds and white goods to homeowners, most of which are purchased via retailers’ websites.

The engineering team is at a crossroads where they have begun to revamp their internal systems and move to more modern architectures.

Job description

The Role:

• Developing and documenting your understanding of the core platforms servicing the business, actively working in multiple concurrent work streams/platforms

• Working across business functions to ascertain change requirements, producing functional supporting documentation incl but not limited to wireframes, systems design docs, data migration docs etc.

• Defining deliverable, understanding, assessing and documenting business impact and benefit of change requests

• Preparing use-cases, specifications and supplementary functional documentation

• Presenting solutions to the business and soliciting feedback

• Analysing and evaluating business processes, feeding back to stakeholders

• Consolidating change across multiple stakeholders, business functions and strategy to deliver maximum ROI.

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of commercial BA experience

• Data modelling and mining skills (desirable)

• Proven experience of building and delivering modern web applications

• Hands on experience in testing methodologies (desirable)
