The organisation is a specialised lender that offers quick, affordable bridging loans and has extensive expertise in the real estate and finance sectors. It is looking for a Junior Bridging Finance Underwriter to join the team. The ideal applicant will possess demonstrated work exposure of at least 3 years in bridge financing. Job Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates must have proven working experience within the Bridging and/or Development Finance sector and will previously have held an Underwriting Mandate. Analytical abilities to the max. Capability to organise transactions according to the market sector, asset, and security. The ability to plan, arrange, prioritise, and manage time. Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. Outstanding written and vocal English. The ability to communicate in Chinese would be advantageous but not required. Excellent attention to detail. A thinker who is creative and eager to work in a developing, nimble organisation. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Process new bridging loan lending requests and assess creditworthiness. Prepare comprehensive credit proposals for submission to the Credit Committee. Creating offer documents and ensuring that all loan criteria are satisfied during the drawdown process. Underwrite and authorise loans against consented lending terms. Meeting customer expectations while managing broker calls on particular cases under review. Efficiently manage the financing process, liaise with internal teams (Legal, Risk, and Sales) as well as external parties (Surveyors, Solicitors, and Clients).
