We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and organised Band 5 Junior Assistant Operational Manager to join the Ophthalmology Operational Management Team.

The post will support the Senior Operational Management Team in the delivery of Ophthalmology Services at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust.

This is an opportunity for an individual with knowledge and experience of working within large public sector organisations, who understands the complexity and professionalism required. Educated to degree level, the successful applicant will have previous experience of working within a junior management role with knowledge and skills in the following areas :

Project Management Human Resources Clinical Governance Processes Supporting Senior Management Excellent verbal and written skills Strong problem solving ability The ability to build excellent relationships across all areas of the Trust

The successful applicant will be required to work across both Trust sites and support the wider scheduled care team by taking part in the Operational Manager of the Day rota.
