Job description

The client is offering a fantastic opportunity for someone to grow and develop as an Application Developer working with a custom built application tool, and working alongside the In-House System Developer to grow a Software Development Career.

You may be a recent graduate or have studied Application Development in your own time, or you may be a junior develop quite young in your career looking to learn and develop further and be able to have ownership and development of a working application.

Job Summary

As part of the team you will be guided, trained and then responsible for building and maintaining a custom built platform

They are looking to complement their IT team with an ambitious and knowledgeable IT developer who is keen to learn. The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn and advance in their career and must be flexible in their outlook. Previous work experience is not required.

Main Duties Include:

  • Provide support to internal staff who are already using deployed solutions.
  • Assist in planning, design and testing of new and existing business solutions and applications.
  • Assist with the evaluation of existing IT applications and solutions and identify improvements.
  • Work on R&D projects as required.

Candidates should possess the following:

Required Skills/ Experience:-

  • Graduate in an IT related course or relevant self teaching/coding courses.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated and organized
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Understanding of programming, and ability to code in at least one programming language

Desirable skills:

  • .NET, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • SOL, C# programming
  • HTML, JS, XML and CSS
  • Visual Studio with Team Foundation Server for managing source code.
  • WordPress platforms
  • APls
