Junior PHP Developer/Senior PHP Developer Fully remote - up to £31,000 for junior and up to £45,000 for senior A leading financial services group are seeking PHP Developers of all levels to join the team, learn and grow within an exciting industry. The role is fully remote but the office is based in Peterborough. The ideal candidate for the junior role will have: PHP knowledge An understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Previous experience with an MVC framework (such as Symfony or Laravel) Familiarity with Linux systems Experience building/working with MySQL databases Any HTML, debugging tools, Composer experience would be beneficial along with experience working in an Apple Mac environment. The ideal candidate for the senior role will have strong experience with all of the above plus experience in the following: Designing and optimising MySQL databases Using debugging tools Writing unit test frameworks like XDebug and PHPUnit Working within the Symfony framework Working in a LAMP environment Consuming/building APIS Experience with REST and SOAP would be beneficial along with a keenness to guide and support the junior developers.
