JavaScript Developer

Yolk Recruitment have partnered with a new client, who are a household Welsh brand with a close connection to the community. They are recruiting for a JavaScript Developer, options to work remote or out of 3 different office locations. Exciting a new opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop and work on new products.

This is what you’ll be doing

As a JavaScript Developer working with this huge household Welsh brand, you will be responsible for undertaking development work as part of their digital strategy. Whilst improving the user experience and introducing new features along with the development of new platforms and services.
  • Development and maintenance of Web and Mobile application and Platforms and Websites.
  • Use new API’s, SDKs or programming languages with a view to building rapid prototypes
  • Perform research and development to facilitate their aspirations for their platforms.

This is what you’ll bring to the Team

Working as a JavaScript Developer a few aspects you will bring to their team are:
  • Ability to pick up and learn new technologies
  • 2 Years’ experience as a developer
  • Proven experience with Web Programming, specifically JavaScript
  • Experience with a framework: React, React Native or Angular
  • In-depth Knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Proven experience of working in stack development

Desirable Skills

There are a few desirable skills also:
  • Degree in Computer Science
  • HTML5 Web Apps
  • Mobile App development specifically IOS, Android
  • Knowledge of Agile methods
