We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our growing organisation to support the effective running within a high value returns department on Wellingborough Site. The salary for this position is £19,609.95 per annum plus a £1400 allowance. We are flexible with a shift pattern of 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00, primarily Monday – Friday.

What you will do
  • Support the team leader, supervisor and operations manager on site
  • Work in a large team to assign workload and oversee quality checks
  • Send inspection reports to our customers via email and update our web portal of those findings
  • Inspect and test high value returns functionally within the department
  • Liaise with the admin team to arrange rejected goods to be returned (ensuring picking is done accurately and efficiently)
  • Carry out discrepancy reports
-Assist with accepted stock by ensuring picking is carried out efficiency, accurately and on- time
  • Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values
  • Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity

Key Skills/experience
  • Good understanding of written and verbal English
  • Flexible, highly motivated and willingness to progress
  • Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
  • Co-operate and work collaboratively, fostering relationships with others
  • Confident with the use of spreadsheets, data entry and email
  • Confident in working with a large team
  • All necessary training will be given
