Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday
Shift times: 10am to 7pm (Late Shift)
Location: Fradley (WS13 8SU)

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Working in the Outbound department of an E-Commerce distribution centre
  • Managing a small Team of around 20 colleagues
  • Working with KPI’s and completing handover reports at the end of each shift
  • Effective leadership and management of the operational and administration teams - Cost saving initiatives
  • Team building and morale management - deploying active leadership and EOS initiatives
  • Plan resource to complete all of the shifts work handing over agreed work to the following shift
  • Train and develop team members through the effective use of personal development plans, appraisals, 1-1’s and succession planning

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • People Management/Team LeadingExperience (at least 1 Year)
  • Computer Literacy
  • Experience within a Warehouse/Supply Chain Environment is Desirable

A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well received.
