Position: Transport First Line Manager
Location: Sheffield, S20 7JP
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm with a requirement to work 1 in 5 weekends

We make promises to our customers, and we’ll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • Managing a small team by assigning their day to day duties, conducting 1:1’s, performance reviews and back to works
  • Ensuring that all routes are dispatched from the site on time
  • Assisting drivers with any route changes, compliance issues, delivery queries throughout the night
  • Monitoring shift status and KPI’s through Operation’s Management Systems
  • Promote a positive culture and supporting Employee Opinion Survey initiatives

  • Previous Transport Office experience is preferred but not essential
  • Proven management or supervisory experience in a transport or supply chain environment is essential
  • Strong IT skills - using Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Good interpersonal, motivational, planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
