Trainee HGV2 Driver. Full training provided to become a HGV2 Brakes Driver - Bristol

Don’t be just any driver, be a Brakes driver…

Starting as a van driver earning OTE £27,240 (£25,740 basic plus £1,500 retention bouns) plus overtime on a 3 month training program. After 3 months WE will put you through your C class licence. Upon gaining your C class licence your salary will increase to OTE £38,000. The shift will be Monday to Friday with just 1 Saturday in 3 (you will have a week day off to compensate).

It’s a vital role, and it can be hard work, but a Brakes driver makes it look easy!

The role includes:

• Accurate picking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders

• Collecting monies

• Maintaining product temperatures

• Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DVSA

• Compliance with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation

You’ll have:

• Drivers licence with B class entitlement

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions

• The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion

• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

• Ambition to become a HGV2 driver in the future
