What your job will be

You’ll be working as a Technical Product Owner across one or more cross- functional squads of product, engineers, and testers, to deliver new products and features, and improve our technology platform. Our Squads follow Agile Scrum methodology to develop and own features end-to-end, so you’ll be involved from conception to delivery of new products or features, or improvements to our underlying technology and platform.

As a Technical PO your role will involve:

• Working with the squad to prioritise the team’s roadmap against goals/outcomes to deliver the most value
• Collaborating with stakeholders from different areas of the business to gather requirements and validate technical solutions to business problems and
• Capture requirements in the form of user stories or tasks that are clear, concise and can be understood by technical and non-technical colleagues
• Collaborating with your squad to define Acceptance Criteria
• Producing technical designs and documentation
• Participating in Agile (Scrum) ceremonies such as refinement, estimation and sprint planning
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders outside of the product development team
• Understanding the risk and impact of change on other areas of the business

• Passion for building market leading solutions to problems
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with system architecture, microservices, integration, APIs
• Experience in a similar role in the financial services industry
• Experience writing technical design documents
• Experience using Jira/Confluence
• Good analysis and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator
• Strong stakeholder management
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or cross functional teams
• Familiarity of Cloud environments (e.g. Azure/AWS)

What we give you in return

Competitive salary up to £60,000.

24 days holiday a year – plus bank holidays (you will earn an extra day holiday for each full year you’re with us, up to 28 days)

Due to the pandemic, we are currently working from home, and all interviews will be carried out remotely. Our offices allow for collaborative working however we operate a hybrid working policy which allows remote working where the role and team deliveries allow.
