We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Secretary/Administrator to join our Team.

The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is a service that provides young people with emotional and mental health support within the schools setting. Currently Somerset has 4 teams, with the advent of another 2 teams being set up in early 2022.

We work in collaboration with colleagues from Young Somerset, Educational Psychology, Public Health and Education in delivering the MHST programme.

The role will require someone who is organised and efficient but who is also a real team player and has excellent communication and people skills. If you are interested and passionate about supporting children and young people with their mental health and want to be part of a great and exciting team, then please do apply!

To ensure there is robust induction, the post holder will spend time initially alongside our MHST administrator and the Single Point of Access team in Taunton and , to become familiar with the referrals coming through to the service, as well as learning more about the young person population in Somerset and schools. The post holder will be required to travel to the sites in the County at times.
