Senior Network Engineer

James Adams is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a well-established multi-million-pound company with offices around the world. The company is widely recognised as a pioneer in its field and has grown consistently over the past 12 years.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be passionate about the field and take a lead role in the strategic network and project-based work packages, aligned to the overall business strategy.

As part of our Project/3rd line support team within Network Engineering, this is an outstanding opportunity for someone who has proven technical ability and a track record of technical excellence with a project delivery-focused mindset.

You will be capable of leading and delivering project-related work with minimal input from the team, technical leads and managers. You will be driven to continually identify opportunities to optimise and improve the performance, availability and security of the network.

* CCNA/CCNP/CCIE.
* Experience with software-defined networking and affiliated technologies to support modern platform stacks such as OpenStack, VMware & Kubernetes.
* Experience automating networking infrastructure and solutions at scale using tools like Python, Ansible and Jenkins.
* Strong automation experience.
* Project delivery experience.
