This role effectively assists both the Bid to Contract team & sales teams, providing expert guidance on non-standard & complex bids where end to end Bid Management assistance is not aligned.
This role is an enabler, maintaining & delivering sales tools, templates, insight etc. - driving a great sales & customer experience. As well as having a direct impact on the success of the Sales functions, this role is critical to ensuring adherence & compliance to governance requirements
You’ll Have The Following Responsibilities
Operational Assistance - be the representative of the team throughout bid co-ordination & governance activities - ensuring an excellent customer experience. On non-standard bids, where end-to-end Bid Management assistance is not aligned, provide guidance to sales on the bid cycle, ensuring compliance to all governance requirements. Also, and where approved, deliver assistance to the bid management team i.e. production of bid briefing packs
Governance – ensure governance & compliance requirements are met accordingly – providing GR9 assurance data
Reporting & insight - production & maintenance of MI & team reporting. Production of insight, win/loss data & lessons learned
Triage & Surgery activities - effectively manage opportunity triage activities/calls, as well as bid surgery activities/calls
Sales & Business Levers – maintain & manage bid libraries, templates, collateral etc. Management and maintenance of external supplier portals i.e. Achilles
Stakeholder Management – work in partnership across the business to encourage knowledge-sharing & continuous improvement
You’ll Have The Following Skills & Experience
Give Specialised Advice - offers expert advice on subject expertise building rapport with stakeholders as a trusted advisor
Organisation and Communication - possess excellent organisation and communication skills, with proven ability to develop & execute clear plans – resolving challenges / conflict, whilst maintaining high energy
Stakekholder management – strong stakeholder management skills. Able to manage expectations across wider business, including senior managers and effectively prioritise workload / deliverables. Ability to work collaboratively across different teams
Professional knowledge – comprehensive knowledge of core end-to-end bid and sales processes, capabilities, tools and systems
Time management & prioritisation – possess excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure, while prioritising and managing multiple activities
