We currently have an opportunity for a Night Concierge - Relief Bankto join the team based at our Earlsdon Park Retirement Village in Coventry.You will join us to provide cover for sickness.

  • Working hours are 22:30-07.00 Saturday & Sunday
  • Rate of Pay:£12.25 per hour

As our Night Concierge - Relief Bankyou will be a general all-rounder taking on a variety of duties including providing safety and welfare to our Residents and other staff members during the evening and night and providing emergency first aid if required. You will be employed to work waking nights therefore there is no sleeping on duty permitted

Responsibilities of our Night Concierge - Relief Bank

  • Carry out cleaning duties in the communal areas as required
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of Residents during the evening and night-time by monitoring all activities in the village during this period
  • Ensure the building always remains secure and give access to emergency services from time to time
  • Patrol inside, check fire panels, check if any mobility scooters have been left on charge in communal areas, check workshops, fire exits, kitchen, and laundries
  • Patrol outside and the perimeters of the village during the evening and night
  • Occasionally monitor CCTV surveillance
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with family, friends and volunteers or visitors for the general wellbeing of the resident
  • Respond to emergencies at night and seek support from the Care Team Leader if required

Our ideal Night Concierge will be:

  • Friendly with good customer service skills
  • First Aid qualified - desirable
  • Ability to communicate with staff and residents
  • Ideally have previous experience in providing a concierge service or security in a hotel or similar setting
  • Reliable to be able to provide cover
