Based out of our Enfield depot in London, we’re looking for a Materials Operator to join our busy Stores team. You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive team and responsible for maintaining and administering stock, issuing and receiving of physical stock and undertake any relevant duties related to warehouse activity.

What will you do?
  • Receiving and unloading of stock from suppliers, couriers, and engineers
  • Picking and issuing of stock as detailed on all despatch notes, to field staff, depots, and customers
  • The moving and storage of all stock in and out of the warehouse, in a safe and tidy manner
  • Ensure the filing of all documents relating to goods receipt and despatch, are kept up to date.
  • Pass all completed despatch notes to the Logistics Controller for booking
  • Assist in carrying out continuous stock checks in the form of Perpetual Inventory Audits
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, and in a polite and courteous manner
  • Notify the Logistics Controller of any stock and process related issues
  • Undertake appropriate training in line with the addition of new equipment and systems

Who are you?
  • Previous stores and/or Logistics experience
  • Ability to manage goods in and out
  • 4 GCSE’s including Mathematics and English (Grades A-C)
  • Confident working with numerical and written data and information
  • Knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential but you must be computer literate
  • Current forklift licence is desirable
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work unsupervised and remain calm when busy
