Aston University is a diverse, welcoming and international university, with its campus in the centre of Birmingham. We are a long-established destination for international students, with students from 120 different countries choosing to study with us.

We are seeking an International Marketing Officer to join our team to develop campaigns and marketing activity to support our international student recruitment strategy.

The International Marketing Officer will deliver a range of marketing activities, with key responsibilities including:

  • Delivering marketing campaigns to support student recruitment targets, developing marketing collateral and delivering digital activities to aid conversion
  • Developing communications for use in marketing and student journey communications
  • Enhancing and maintaining the international recruitment pages on Aston University’s website
  • Working with Marketing and International Office colleagues to develop country-specific marketing plans
  • Supporting with collateral development for exhibitions and fairs
  • Working with international student ambassadors to develop compelling student-generated content

This post will also have specific responsibility for supporting student recruitment through international partners and agents, so experience of B2B marketing will be an advantage.

To take on this role and join the team you will need to have experience of a range of activities within the marketing mix, both print and digital. You will need to be well-organised with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to write excellent copy.
