We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated IT System Trainer on a 12 month fixed term contract, within the ICT Software Services Department.

This will be to provide consistent and professional training to support the implementation of a new communication system, across the trust.

Applicants will have good training delivery experience and excellent IT knowledge with a desire to share information, knowledge, skills and expertise with end-users and the other members of the IT Training team.

Applicants should have good experience of provision of training, for system deployments including creating training manuals and guides and delivering training sessions to end users.

An ability to learn and understand concepts quickly and communicate often complicated ideas and processes in a clear and concise manner to others is also essential.

The post holder will be a point of contact for matters relating to IT Training for this project deployment.

Reporting to the Senior IT Systems Trainer to primarily be responsible for the training role with the deployment of the new communication system, across the trust. Responsible for all required activities associated to the day to day provision of IT Training for the deployment.

To be involved in the BAU activity within the IT Training Team, which will include design and development of training materials and training delivery.

Will assist the Senior IT Trainer and managers with the on-going training development and support of associated computer systems across the Trust.

To champion IT training within the Trust by ascertaining the training needs and support requirements of Trust staff, to help achieve NHS and Trust objectives.

To have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written format.

As training will be delivered at various sites across the Trust an abilityto travel will berequired.
