WR Fundraising Recruitment is very proud to be working with a leading and inspirational children’s health charity that is looking to strengthen their team with a Head of Marketing & Communications.We’re looking for a marketing and communications professional to join a growing, dynamic team, to develop their new strategy. You will be leading on every aspect of marketing, communications and PR, across all 3 sites. This is a very exciting time to join as you will be pushing forward on a number of projects, including the development and refresh of a new website!You will be very much supported by your team with the opportunity to recruit when you’re in post, to support the fundraising team and develop a donor acquisition and support on donor retention.Head of Marketing & CommunicationsFull Time, PermanentRemote - Travel to sites once a monthSalary - Up to £48,000Key Responsibilities Of The Role Will Include
  • Heading up the marketing team to develop strategy and implement plans to achieve strategic objectives
  • Leading on a digital and social media strategy to support donor acquisition and retention
  • Growing engagement and donations from new and existing supporters
  • Leading the creation and implementation plan to raise the charity’s profile and maximise relevant opportunities
  • Line management of three marketing coordinators
  • Having responsibility for the whole of the website and work with partners to develop a brand refresh
  • Responsibility for the overall production of newsletters, provide content and oversee designs
The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will
  • Have significant experience in a marketing or communications role
  • Have demonstrable experience in developing marketing or communications plans
  • Be experienced within creating digital campaigns
  • Have experience of working on brand development and insights/data
  • Be a brilliant communicator, with the ambition to succeed
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects
