Travel will be required to our Tamworth office and also to Newcastle under Lyme, however, working from home and flexibility in working hours will be an option when possible. We are looking for an exceptional leader who knows how to influence their team, customer focused with passion and energy for the customer and ability to understand the customer’s needs.

The key responsibilities in this role include;

• Build and maintain strong relationship with the customer’s business to ensure all targets are met and exceeded.
• Managing and increasing the capabilities of the control tower team, through succession planning, development, coaching and training.
• Develop effective plans for business improvement activities and development of the customer account.
• Bring innovation and challenge the current network, be able to lead and shape agenda.

Now, what we need from you:

• At least five years experience in Freight Forwarding.
• Customer relationship management skills.
• Demonstrable record of service improvement through innovation.
• International freight experience desirable.
