About Our Client

A fast growing Global Business within the Property sector seeks an experienced Financial/Group Accountant to join the business on a 12 month basis.

Job Description

The role is to assist with the management of all aspects of financial compliance across this growing international group. The role reports to the Global Reporting & Compliance Manager and we are looking for a candidate that is immediately available or on a short notice period due to the nature of the contract.Main duties:
  • Provide technical guidance, prepare policy papers, prepare statutory accounts for the group including subsidiaries and manage the associated statutory audits
  • Work with advisors and colleagues to ensure that all direct and indirect taxes are filed within deadlines. Provide support on new deals, international expansion and tax planning across the group
  • Own the transactional and month-end accounting and forecasting for holding companies and group consolidation
  • Assist with all finance aspects necessary for the expansion of the group abroad including initial advice, incorporation, bank account and system and process setup
  • Maintain the group’s chart of accounts (Microsoft Dynamics GP) and reporting tool (Adaptive Insights) and assist with systems trouble shooting and improvement
  • Help drive improvement in finance systems, processes, reports etc

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be Qualified or Part Qualified (ACA/ACCA) with exposure of working in dynamic organisations. You will be technically strong and have experience of managing Audits. This role would also suit someone looking for their first move into Industry.
