仕事内容

The school currently accepts pupils from some 16 different Local Education Authorities in the North West and although we are predominantly a day school, there is provision for up to 12 pupils to board Monday to Friday in term time only. We have also had our registration changed recently to incorporate admitting more young people up to the age of 18 at our Sixth Form, which now means that we can take up to 110 young people.

This post is part-time term time only post to provide specific driving and/or escorting duties for children aged 8-18 years who have complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties with associated autism spectrum conditions.

The post consists of 25 hrs a week/39 weeks per year, the main role is to drive pupils to and from their homes and School. But there will be additional requirements as per the needs of the School. The working day is made up of split shifts each day on Monday - Friday.

The role holder will be expected to undertake a DBS check and a number of training courses to ensure they are fully aware of all the pupils needs.
