Hub Box is looking for a Deputy General Manager to join the Cardiff team.

Serving up burgers, dogs, fries, cocktails & craft beer in Mermaid Quay. Our Cardiff restaurant is the ninth to open & has extensive waterside views across the bay.


It’s not all about experience for us, the right ambition & attitude are more important to us than two decades of experience. If you are a hands-on leader who can deliver in a high-energy restaurant & have a genuine passion for hospitality, customer service, quality & provenance then we want to hear from you.

As a Deputy General Manager, you join our team too:


  • Support the General Manager (GM) In leading the restaurant team in the delivery of our ambition
  • Create opportunities to coach, mentor & train the restaurant team
  • Assist the GM in shaping the rotas to ensure we have the right people in the restaurant at the right time
  • Be available to recruit & select Front of House team members alongside the GM
  • Optimise the commercials by optimising performance & productivity
  • Keep the restaurant safe, sound & compliant by ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety, The Good Work Plan & The Working Time Regulations
