Depot Planner - Droitwich
Contract - Permanent
Location - On-site (5 days per week)
We are seeking a Depot Planner to join our team in Droitwich. In this role, you will be planning routes for the Depot’s Distribution Activities, ensuring that depot transport efficiencies are achieved and that Diversey customers remain at the forefront of our operations. In order to do this, you will be expected to plan strategically, maximising driver hours and vehicle fill, and reducing / controlling fuel usage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicating with internal departments / stakeholders (Stock Control, Operations, Customer Care) for all queries / requests and information.
  • Collaborating with site Distribution Manager and Transport Manager to ensure driver and vehicle availability is within daily target.
  • Ensuring all site / Diversey logs transport / distribution logs are completed in full and on time.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are pulled through and dispatched in-line with the day 1 for day 2 delivery model.
  • Working with NTM and NOM driving efficiencies through the northern region (postcodes, delivery information) .
  • Acting as liaison between Diversey Manchester warehouse / Transport and internal stakeholders for transport delivery and Sage queries
  • Managing planning inbox.
  • Assisting northern sites with PMI / MOT schedules.
  • Raising direct distribution PO’s for authorisation.
  • Assisting with the de-brief of drivers.
  • Assisting with the management of agency bookings within the Swanley Depots transport departments.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 2+ years of experience in Logistics
  • Experience working as a Planner / Scheduler within a distribution or warehouse environment - preferred
  • Solid customer relation and communication skills
  • Desire to learn
  • Knowledge of H&S rules and regulations - preferred

  • £32,500 base salary + 8% bonus
