Delivery Operations Manager

• Monitor and manage daily operations.
• Plan shift schedules and rotas to minimise dropped routes.
• Track performance and scorecards to ensure the company is consistently working to improve the quality of service.
• Ensure that all deliveries are executed in line with specific client requirements.
• Pre-Brief all drivers daily to ensure they fully understand the day’s work and what is required of them.
• De-Brief all drivers to ensure they have completed all required work and any issues challenged have been dealt with.
• Deal with issues and resolve issues as they arise through the shift and amend the plan to suit when issues arise to ensure we maintain acceptable customer service levels.
• Minimise the impact of vehicle damages by training drivers in order to prevent losses.
• Conduct regular driving style reviews using provided software in support of the previous point.
• Completing and communicating documented handovers and end-of-day reports.
• Communicating issues as they arise to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate vehicle checks are completed and sent daily.
• Manage and report incidents in line with company procedures.
• Ensure drivers shift dates and times are tracked.
• Ensure all driver payment information is correctly provided to accountants in a timely manner.
