We are looking for additional Site Engineers to join our growing Operations team, working specifically on projects in the Powys/ Shropshire area. Main Responsibilities:-Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
  • Topographical Surveys
  • Checking plans, drawings and setting out coordination
  • Preparing reports as required for the Contracts Manager and project QS
  • Having a proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
  • Overseeing quality control and the implementation of the company’s health and safety policy on site
  • Assisting the QS with quantities and project progress
  • Attending site meetings with the construction and design teams
  • Reporting progress on site to senior management
  • Supporting the site manager with day to day running of the project
  • Reporting to the Contracts Manager as a technical advisor on site for specialist subcontractors Candidate Specification
  • Setting-Out, including previous use of Total/ robotic station (preferred)
  • Drainage and Highways experience
  • HNC/Degree in Building or Civil Engineering
  • CSCS (preferred)
  • SMSTS (preferred)
  • Able to work well both within a team & independently
