A supportive and reliable care worker is needed to support a quiet and reserved 40 year old gentleman. Client has a physical disability and is a wheelchair user.

Duties

Personal care - assistance with a daily morning cleansing routine involving aiding with brushing teeth and washing face and showering 2 times per week.

Support to make breakfast, ironing, hoovering, getting groceries.

There is some physical handling required with this task - gentleman can support his own weight but does need some help sitting up and lying down in his bed by holding his arm.

Hours

12 hours a week Mon to Saturday Morning call between 9am to 11am - Times can be slightly flexible.

Experience

Experience of physical disabilities and safe manual handling would be desirable.
