We are Coulton’s Bread Ltd, an STS accredited company with over 40 years of history. We have depots in Gateshead, Bradford, Manchester and Liverpool. We supply to our customer base over 6 days (Mon – Sat) in our 3.5t vans which includes, schools, colleges, hospitals, shops etc. We also deliver for other bakeries.

We work with several local and national suppliers in order to make sure we can supply our customers with products if one supplier has a breakdown whilst also ensuring we adhere to Natasha’s Law. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that customer receives their order on time and with a friendly attitude.

We are now looking to recruit drivers to join our team based in Liverpool. This is an early morning start (approx. 3am) so would suit an early riser.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

o Checking your vehicle to make sure it is legal and roadworthy

o Loading your van and picking your customers orders from van stock and delivering to customers in a timely manner, within the law and with a smile on your face.

o To amend any paperwork so that invoicing is correct

o Picking up equipment (baskets and wheels) from previous deliveries

o Emptying your van when back at the depot and stacking the baskets/wheels in the correct place and at the correct heights in the correct area of the yard

You will need:

o To have a valid driving licence with preferably no more than 3 points

o To be literate in English

o To have basic numeracy

o To be reliable

o To have a positive attitude

o To be approachable

Experience:

  • Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Driving: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
