Department

IT Services are looking for a Platform Engineer to join the team supporting our group systems infrastructure. The role will be focused on IaC (Infrastructure as Code), Automation and Monitoring of in house data centre systems as well as those in the Cloud (Azure). It is expect you will be comfortable working either in house or in the cloud helping support the Atradius Projects Infrastructure improvements.

This is a junior/mid level position and would suit someone with 2years+ experience and who is looking to development their technical skills in a truly global organisation under going an IT Transformation from traditional on premise systems to hybrid and cloud. Atradius has a strong development training principle and if you are prepared to put the work you can accelerate your skills to become an Subject Matter Expert. There is potential for growth and upwards sideways movement for the right person.

We would like the individual to have most of the following core basic skills

Experience of Linux operation and system administration (Redhat is our flavour)
Experience Working Knowledge of Scripting for Linux bash ksh
Experience of Ansible and AWX essential, with either Puppet Terraform beneficial
Experience of GitHub
Knowledge and Understanding of ELK, use of fileBeats and how to manage the product
Knowledge of Azure and Azure Administration (Others Clouds considered favourably)

Any skills experience in the following would be highly beneficial

Container Orchestration (Openshift Kubernetes)
CI|CD pipelines
Documentation creation in Confluence

Personal Competencies

Ideally degree higher education
Fluent in English but any other European languages beneficial
Prepared to study develop and achieve industry recognised accreditations
A passion for technological challenges
The right to work in the UK no sponsorship consider
Prepared for the occasion travel when circumstances require or permit
