We’re looking for a Motor Claims Handler to join us in Bradford on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting into the into the Insurance Claims Manager, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of Uninsured Loss Recovery (ULR) Motor Claims resulting from accidents involving Virgin Media’s fleet.

What will you be doing?

  • Triage incoming Motor Claims Notification Forms and consider action.
  • Manage claims by using technical and analytical skills and accurately time record.
  • Assessing claims and raising payments.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and other third parties where necessary.
  • Respond to information requests from internal and external contacts in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Works to achieve and deliver against the relevant KPI’s.
  • Identify internal and external contacts and liaise to gather information.
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation and case law.

    We tend to look for people with:

  • Degree level education OR relevant qualifications OR good commercial experience
  • Knowledge of law and experience of case handling.
  • Experience of dealing with motor ULR claims.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Calm under pressure and able to prioritise.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Good negotiating skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
