London Market Claims Senior/ Supervisor

One of the World’s largest Insurance Brokers has an interesting new opportunity to join their London market focused division as a senior point within their claims team as a Claims Senior/ Supervisor.

Using your existing London Market based claims experience you will handle a caseload of technical claims as well as acting as a point of seniority within the team supervising and developing more junior Handlers as well as offering technical advice and support.

The role is focused on the handling of bordereaux and bordereaux claims following them from advice to collection and settlement. You will follow the claims through the workflows using/updating tracking spreadsheets so that we can update clients and manage their expectations with.

You will be part of a small specialist team so this is a great opportunity to get involved with a growing team and help develop the shape of it for the future. You will analyse financial data, reinsurance policies and quantitative analyses to develop recommendations on reinsurance placement to support Financial Advisors.

Within your role you will collect risk information and data and present findings to the team. You will apply advanced knowledge of placement by supporting senior colleagues in helping clients with the risk of their portfolio and placing it an appropriate re-insuring entity. You will also contribute to projects that deal with the structuring of reinsurance programs and portfolio placement.
