Are you a proven leader and Director with a great reputation in the North West commercial insurance market? Would you be interested in an interesting and exciting new opportunity to play a big role in the growth plans of an ambitious insurance brokerage?

If so, we have a brilliant opportunity available to be part of the leadership team for an independent, growing insurance brokerage in Bolton.

THE ROLE:

As Commercial Insurance Director, you will inherit an existing portfolio of business and be responsible for the proactive management, retention and growth of these clients. You will also play a huge part in the development of the business in general, contributing to the long-term business strategy whilst also supporting and leading the Account Executives and wider team in their development.

You will act as the technical referral point for the team, taking overall responsibility for insurer relationships and ensuring that an outstanding and expert service is delivered to clients at all times.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A proven leader and excellent reputation in the broking market, with experience working at Director level or in senior management positions for a reputable commercial insurance brokerage.
  • Outstanding technical knowledge and competence in a wide range of commercial insurance products.
  • A successful background of managing and growing a book of commercial business.
  • The desire and willingness to play a big part in the development of others, passing on your knowledge, skills and experience to the wider team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in a verbal and written manner, along with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
