Business Development Advisor

Are you driven to achieve a positive client experience and build long lasting relationships?

This role is hybrid – the colleague can work remotely and will be expected to visit an office for occasional meetings or training.

What the day will look like
As a Business Development Advisor working in commercial insurance, you will be responsible for making outbound calls, researching companies, and emailing prospects to promote our products as well as arranging meetings with representatives. Working within an FCA regulated environment you will be targeted to achieve individual, team and department objectives. The Business Development Advisor will be tasked with achieving personal monthly meeting and conversion targets. The colleague will acquire product and process knowledge to ensure that we are fully compliant to advertise our products within the FCA regulations.

This position delivers first class customer service, maintains, and develops relationships with potential customers. The ideal candidate will have experience negotiating, attention to detail and strong time management skills.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Experience working in a marketing role within the Commercial risk insurance industry
  • Marketing experience preferably in a target driven sales and FSA regulated environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of database and CRM software, Excel, Outlook
  • Effective communications skills, both written and verbal

Education :Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
