The Atlas Recruitment Group are currently searching for an IT Technician to join a growing and successful Cloud Transformation organisation to look after their customers within the education sector in Kent.

The organisation has two arms to the business, one of them is providing enterprise level cloud transformation programmes to public and private sector customers and the other is providing managed services.

As an IT Technician working for this company, your day-to-day will be mainly split between visiting different schools within Kent however if there is no need to visit customers you will either be working remotely from home or out of their office in Maidstone.
  • Provide professional IT support and advice to schools/Academies/clients, dealing with a wide range of complex technical issues including networking (WAN, LAN and wi-fi), Windows server, User devices, On-Premises and Cloud based Administration and Curriculum solutions, classroom technology and e-safetyManages and maintains school’s IT infrastructure to ensure systems and solutions are secure, including Windows server and network equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents raised by the customer. Responsible for investigation of complex technical issues, sharing solutions with colleagues.
  • With assistance from Team Leader, provides advice in response to requests for new IT solutions, services and equipment.
  • With assistance from Team Leader, advises on appropriate technical IT roadmaps, aligned to the business and services, enabling customers to plan budgets and achieve organisational objectives.
  • Acts of behalf off the customer with 3rd party providers, ensuring services are delivered in line with customer needs.
  • Accountable for ensuring e-safety IT solutions are fit for purpose, implemented and managed effectively
  • Highlights IT risks to school leaders and with assistance from Team Leader, uses technical expertise, recommends appropriate steps to mitigate and/or remove risks
