ICT Engineer - Hampshire (Hook)

Up To £25,000 Dependent On Experience

Our client, a well established Managed Service Provider, are currently looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join their team to work in a school near Hook. Reporting to a Network Manager, the ICT Technician will assist in supporting all school networks and systems, ensuring they are fit for purpose.

It will suit someone who wants to work in one location, with good customer service and troubleshooting skills, but part of a larger company with growth and progression beyond what a single school can offer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all 1st and ideally some 2nd line support to all users, assisting with the installation of new hardware and software, ensuring all ICT documentation is kept up to date at all times, providing remote support where required, assisting with the day to day maintenance of school systems, as well as providing support for the School Management Information System.

Requirements
  • Experience in an IT Support position, preferably within the Education Sector
  • A relevant qualification or certification (CompTIA, MCSA etc)
  • Experience supporting both hardware and software
  • Ideally Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Servers 2008 / 2012 / 2016
  • Print Management, DNS, DHCP
  • Windows 8-10
  • Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365
  • Preferably with experience of Schools MIS (SIMS / ISAMS / Bromcom etc)
