Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Ict Systems Trainer in the Royal Borough Of Kensington and Chelsea.

The sucessful post holder will be an enthusiastic individual, able to lead in developing the IT skills of core business system (Capita Housing) users and promote system functionality to RBKC Housing staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Design or refine training courses that cover Housing’s IT needs.
  • Influence the adoption and effective use of Capita One Housing to improve services.
  • Coordinate with department heads to assess IT training needs and putting forward recommendations for changes to improve service delivery.
  • Deliver system application training using a variety of training methods such as group training, individual training, demonstrations, workshops, e-learning and videos, operating either in-person or virtual.
  • Review and update training materials, working with the systems team, and taking into account system application changes, upcoming developments and upgrades.
  • Assist in co-ordinating, planning and carrying out user acceptance testing.
  • Assist with systems testing for software upgrades and fault fixes as appropriate.
  • Communicate software problems and issues to systems manager and IT helpdesk and guiding users in logging calls to facilitate appropriate troubleshooting, diagnostics and remedial action.
  • Troubleshoot and support users of housing systems in response to issues reported.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training courses by conducting research and implementing changes to maintain effective delivery of ICT training to users.
  • Write reports, IT notices and bulletins to help promote ICT services across the department.
  • Develop, maintain and promote ICT learning and development policies and Technology Adoption.
  • Contribute to the specification and evaluation of software applications and hardware in relation to usability and impact on organisation. training needs.
  • Develop knowledge sharing environment and ‘super-user’ concept.

Personal Requirements:

  • Degree level education is desirable.
  • Any relevant Systems training certification or qualification is an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering ICT related end user training.
  • Demonstrable experience of creating user manuals and training materials.
  • Has experience of ‘training needs analysis’ to adapt to learners abilities.
  • Experience and confidence in using O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Basic DBS certificate.
  • 3 Years References.

WORKING HOURS AND RATE:

  • 09:00 am - 17:00 pm / Mon - Fri
  • Rate: £26.27 p/h
